The specialized site Transfermarkt drew up a top 100 players from each championship according to their market value. In Belgium, the Blauw in Zwart are logically in the lead and occupy the three places on the podium.
Krepin Diatta is the player rated as the most expensive in the championship. The 21-year-old player from the right lane of the Club currently weighs 20 million euros. In second, arrives the one who occupies the other corridor on the chessboard of Philippe Clément. This is Emmanuel Dennis, who is currently worth 16 bricks. In third position, the first Belgian in the person of Hans Vanaken. The playing master of the reigning champions saw his rating climb to 15 million euros.
Behind this Bruges trio, Zinho Vanheusden and Yari Verschaeren are tied, the players of Standard and Anderlecht, at 21 and 19, are currently worth 13.5 million euros.
The rest of the top 10 is made up of De Ketelaere (Bruges, 12 million), Yaremchuck (Ghent, 11 million), Maelhe (ex-Genk, 10 million), Lokonga (Anderlecht, 10 million) and Simon Mignolet (Bruges, 9 million ).
Three other Liégeois, namely Samuel Bastien (15th, 7 million), Selim Amallah (18th, 6.5 million) and Nicolas Raskin (21st, 6 million) are also in the top 25. On the Mauve side, we find only Hendrik Van Crombrugge (17th with 6.5 million market value). Note that no player from Charleroi and Mouscron appears in this first quarter of the top 100. The best ranked Zebra is Marco Illaimaharitra (27th, 5 million euros) while the first Hurlus is Xadas (88th, 2, 5000000).
The ranking is more represented by Bruges (19), Anderlecht (16), Ghent (16), Genk (15), Standard (10), Charleroi (8), Antwerp (8), Malines (2), Cercle de Bruges ( 2), Ostend (1), Mouscron (1), Beerschot (1) and Saint-Trond (1).
Among players under 21, Anderlecht’s Yari Verschaeren takes the lead. It is followed by De Ketelaere, Vranckx (Mechelen, 7.5 million), Raskin and Kossounou (Bruges, 6 million).
