The 24-year-old South African admittedly did not field a fourth consecutive card of 67, but posted a 69 (-3) amply sufficient to keep his challengers at bay Jamie Donaldson (69) and Dylan Frittelli (71). The future 35th player in the world finishes at -18 total, five strokes in front of the Welshman and seven in front of his compatriot, and will tackle the DP World Tour Championship next week in the United Arab Emirates in the shoes of No.5 in Europe, with a chance to land the scepter of the Race to Dubai in the event of further success.
