South African Open (ET): A top 10 for Warrior

A week after his success at Leopard Creek, Christiaan Bezuidenhout became the first golfer to win two consecutive tournaments on the European tour since Justin rose in 2017. The 24-year-old South African admittedly did not field a fourth consecutive card of 67, but posted a 69 (-3) amply sufficient to keep his challengers at bay Jamie Donaldson (69) and Dylan Frittelli (71). The future 35th player in the world finishes at -18 total, five strokes in front of the Welshman and seven in front of his compatriot, and will tackle the DP World Tour Championship next week in the United Arab Emirates in the shoes of No.5 in Europe, with a chance to land the scepter of the Race to Dubai in the event of further success.

French side, nice end of the tournament for Julien warrior, which beat the layout of the Gary Player Country Club for the third day in a row. With five birdies for three bogeys, the Rochelais posted a solid 70 (-2) which allows him to seize ninth place alone, at -7. This is his third top 10 on the tour this season. Matthieu pavon ranks 58th at +6 with a final card of 74 (+2): even if he loses two ranks on the order of merit (74th), the Bordeaux should nevertheless return in extremis to the field of the final in Dubai. Finally Robin roussel (77) ends 64 at +9.
