Without the injured striker Erling Haaland, the BVB attack lacks a lot of punch. Marco Reus and Thorgan Hazard stay on the bench in Frankfurt. Coach Lucien Favre faces a tricky task.

Lucien Favre has to keep tinkering. So far, the coach of Borussia Dortmund has not yet found the solution how to replace his injured striker Erling Haaland. In Frankfurt, like three days before, it was only enough to 1-1 against Lazio in the Champions League. The result was poor, but bearable, because league leaders Bayern only played a draw against RB Leipzig. But even four points behind the record champions seem difficult to catch up at the moment. Because in contrast to the months before with Haaland, the BVB offensive is anything but powerful.

The sixteen-year-old, who was celebrated as a talent of the century even before his first Bundesliga appearance, spreads a bit of hope for improvement: Youssoufa Moukoko revived the Dortmund attack after being substituted at the beginning of the second half. Although his contribution to the improved overall performance of the team was not exactly spectacular.
