Perfect preseason for the Lakers, from great AD; KD Nets crush Boston; 31 for Zion; +36 for the Knicks!

Back on the 8 pre-season games of the night in the NBA:

4/4 for the Lakers, winners of the Suns by a small point and who therefore remain perfect in this preseason. Anthony Davis had a big job with 35 points at 11/16, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals in 29 minutes. LeBron James he played 24 minutes for 20 points at 6/11, 8 rebounds and 4 assists but also 8 lost balls. In front Devin Booker led the Suns (6 players to at least 10 points) with 27 points to 8/12, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

In Denver the Nuggets walked around facing the Blazers who were playing without Damian Lillard (26 points at 8/20 of C.J. McCollum). Paul Millsap leads the way with 24 points at 9/13 and 5 rebounds, Michael Porter Jr. adds 20 points to 6/12, 9 rebounds and 3 assists for a final lead of 33 points in favor of the Colorado team.

Chicago won by 2 points at OKC, carried by 22 points to 9/17 and 5 rebounds from Lauri Markkanen and the 20 points at 8/16, 4 rebounds and 4 assists Zach LaVine. Théo Maledon, after two good first outings, did not play for the Thunder. New Orleans with 31 points at 12/22, 9 rebounds and 2 assists Zion Williamson, dominated the Bucks without Giannis and despite scoring 29 points at 9/16 Khris Middleton.

Brooklyn finished at +24 against the Celtics, carried by 25 points to 9/16, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks from Kevin Durant, but also the 18 points at 6/13 of Caris LeVert and the 17 points at 7/15, 7 rebounds and 5 assists Kyrie Irving. Limited to 34.8% on shots, the Celtics could only count on 19 points at 5/17 of Jayson Tatum and 16 points at 7/15 of Jaylen Brown.

New York crushed Cleveland by 36 points. Immanuel Quickley (25th pick in the draft) finished the team’s leading scorer with 22 points at 7/12 and 5 assists, Kevin Knox added 20 points to 7/10 and Mitchell Robinson compiled 8 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. On the Toronto side, or rather Tampa, the Raptors lost to the Heat of KZ Okpala, 24 points at 9/15, and Max Strus, 22 points at 8/11. Finally Philly, without Embiid but with a well-distributed mark, beat Indiana, despite 3 players at least 20 points at the Pacers.
