The Association of Basketball Clubs (AdC) reported this Friday the suspension of the match between La Unión de Formosa and Platense, corresponding to the Final Phase of the National Basketball League (LNB), due to cases of coronavirus in the northern team.
“The match between La Unión de Formosa and Platense scheduled for this Friday, December 18 at 9.30 p.m., has been postponed due to the late detection of five positive cases of Covid-19 in the team led by Daniel Cano” The entity communicated in a brief message.
In total, the cases are five people, although it was not clarified whether they left the team or the delegation.
“The meeting will be rescheduled and the AdC Skills Department will inform as soon as possible the new date,” they closed.
The National League was suspended in mid-November for at least 80 positive cases and was resumed on the 30th of last month.
