Losers from week 16

Gone are NFL Sundays in 2020 and with them the playoff hopes of various teams. We bring you the losers of week 16.

Those who believe in ‘tanking’

There is no doubt that this does not exist. There are 53 players on each roster and a coaching staff playing the job every week. The Jets won their second straight game, the 49ers won a divisional game that could eliminate the Cardinals, the Cowboys have a good chance of going to the playoffs and so we’ve seen several examples this couple of weeks.

The Vikings defense

The offense has been up to the task, the defense very poor, they have scored more than 25 points in six losses this season, there is no other team that can boast that number.

The Saints gave them 583 yards, 264 of them by land plus 6 TDs by Alvin Kamara by that means, it’s just not reacting. “This is a bad defense, it’s the worst I’ve ever had,” said Mike Zimmer, “you have to try to get 52 points.” Maybe it’s the last we’ll hear from Zimmer with the Vikings, I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to turn to see a younger coach convince the locker room.

Broncos rookie WR Jerry Jeudy

It’s not a determining factor in his career, but it’s certainly been a very disappointing season for rookie Jeudy with the Broncos. The former Alabama catcher was only able to catch six passes of the fifteen they threw in his direction, dropping five clear passes. You have to stop tweeting that you want more targets (and delete it), you have to prove it when opportunities arise.

The Lions defense

They allowed their fifth game of more than 40 points, it is the most a team has allowed in a season since 1948. Congratulations, they endorse their title to the gravest franchise in the NFL every year even in the report. Not much more to say.

El HC de los Cardinals, Kliff Kingsbury

The game plan was really deficient, the play-action did not fool anyone, they were never able to run the ball and despite the 12 targets, it seems that they wasted DeAndre Hopkins, who left with 8 receptions for less than 50 yards. QB Kyler Murray looked uncomfortable and threw a pathetic interception, but he was never in a really favorable situation. It appears Kingsbury underestimated the 49ers as a division rival.

Dolphins HC Brian Flores

I don’t know if this having a re-election works in the NFL, less in a rookie QB. It may work to win today, but it certainly hits Tua Tagovailoa’s confidence. It was not an obligation or a need to force him to play when they were winning, now with these decisions, it gives the impression that he can damage the future of the franchise, I don’t know, the future will tell us …

Raiders defenders CB Damon Arnette and DE Arden Key

Congratulations guys, you eliminated your team. Arnette got burned ugly on cover and Key did his funny facemask on Fitzpatrick. It’s okay to be lavish, but those Christmas gifts are overkill. There are no excuses to lose games like this.

The Colts’ HC, Frank Reich

I don’t understand the need to take the ball away from his effective running tandem, Jonathan Taylor and Naheem Hynes, and put the game in the hands of Philip Rivers. They were winning the game 24-7, and those Steelers points had come from a Rivers fumble. In the second half, they did not feel like running and preferred to give life to the Steelers.

It has to be said, the defense was not up to the task and was unable to consistently pressure QB Ben Roethlisberger or stop a tear-jerk offense in recent weeks, but the Colts’ offense just disappeared. No way, now we will have to wait for the help of several and beat some Jags who already have the first pick of 2021.

The Atlanta Falcons

Not much to say, they just like to throw advantages away. Poor Matt Ryan, he’s been on the floor this season. They haven’t wanted to protect him. It seems that the Falcons are the Blue Cross of the NFL, they can’t have nice things.

The Texans defense

It is a teardrop unit. It can’t be that the Bengals with Brandon Allen as QB will score you 37 points. There have to be profound changes in that defense and bring in a convincing coaching staff, Romeo Crennel already knows that he is not a good HC and perhaps it is already expired for this NFL. JJ Watt already said it: whoever is not willing to work, has to go.

Browns QB Baker Mayfield

There is no pretext. They lost to the Jets and their QB didn’t do the minimum to get the game out. It is already known that when the Browns are losing and cannot run the ball Mayfield disappears.

Dwayne Haskins career

You read it here: It’s over. We will not see Haskins as a starter in the NFL again. He’ll be a substitute for someone for a while, like Geno Smith, but he doesn’t have what it takes to play in this league. In the week he had his indiscipline and now he sent a match shame with 3 deliveries of the ball and not much more.
