12 out of 15 in the Europa League for Antwerp? Only the second Belgian club ever to succeed

Penalty, penalty, Royal Antwerp Football Club. The Great Old won for the fourth time in this Europa League campaign yesterday, and so shines with 12 out of 15 in the lead in group J. That is very rare for a Belgian club: it is only the second time ever that a team from our country can shine with such figures in the group stage. The only other team did even better: in 2011-2012, Anderlecht started with 15 out of 15, to finish clear with six victories in a row. Provided a win at Tottenham next week, Antwerp can provide the second-best performance ever of a Belgian team in the group stage.
