In the FIFA financial report for the year 2019 income from the museum business of around 3.5 million dollars (2.88 million euros) is shown – at costs of 6.3 million dollars (5.18 million euros). FIFA said it had brought in external experts. “The audit uncovered several suspicious circumstances and maladministration, some of which could be criminally relevant and therefore require proper investigation by the relevant authorities,” said Deputy Secretary-General Alasdair Bell.
