After further positive corona tests at the Eisbären Berlin, the two remaining two games in the Magenta Cup ice hockey preparatory tournament have been canceled. According to the German Ice Hockey League, the matches against EHC Red Bull Munich on Friday and Tuesday against Adler Mannheim will no longer take place. The entire polar bear team as well as the supervisors and trainers will be in quarantine at home until December 10th. In terms of sport, the capital club had no chance of reaching the semi-finals.
The DEL season, which has been postponed due to the corona, should begin for the polar bears on December 18 with the home game against Bremerhaven.
