‘Heerenveen knows enough and puts a flopped defender in the shop window’

Andreas Skovgaard seems to have had his day at sc Heerenveen. The club is open to a departure of the 23-year-old defender. Skovgaard is rented out this season to Örebro SK from Sweden.

Skovgaard’s adventure near Heerenveen has never been a success. He did not make an Eredivisie minute for his employer and was parked on a rental basis at Örebro SK. Skovgaard does have a basic place there.

According to the Leeuwarder Courant, Skovgaard van Heerenveen can look forward to another club. No clubs have reported ‘formally’ for him yet. Should Heerenveen manage to keep Skovgaard at bay, more space will be created in the salary house.

“The coach thought there was someone better than me and didn’t change much in the team, so it was difficult to play me in the team,” Skovgaard said last year. “Not everything went well, but the big change did not materialize. I would have liked to play more, but unfortunately.”
