Grealish part of Aston Villa front three when Boly fell back four from Wolves

Fresh from an overnight price hike Jack Grealish (£ 7.8m) starts in an offensive left role for Aston Villa in Molineux.

The English midfielder flanked Ollie Watkins (£ 6.1m) on one side with Bertrand Traore (£ 5.9m) gave a start on the opposite wing.

There is no place in Dean Smith’s matchday roster for Trezeguet (£ 5.3m). The midfielder cut his head in Gameweek 10.

Emi Martinez (£ 4.8m) is between the goal posts for Villa behind a seeded four. Matt Targett (£ 4.5m) is the cheapest FPL option on this defense.

Smith has also passed a start for £ 4.5m midfielders Jacob RamseyThe 19-year-old replaces Ireland Conor Hourihane (£ 6.0m). The villa boss said of his selection decision:

[Jacob] really impressed. He played a number of cup games for us and excelled at them.

It’s tough for Conor Hourihane, but I just felt like I was really impressed with the way Jacob has trained over the past few weeks. His energy levels enabled him to start today.

To the injured Ross Barkley (£ 5.9m), Smith stated on Wednesday:

No [he’s not in the squad for Wolves]. He still has an injury. He’s in rehab right now, he’s running back. It shouldn’t be too long before he gets back.

Fabio Silva (£ 5.2m) are tasked with eradicating the Villa conceded goal as Nuno Espirito Santo gives the young striker his full Premier League debut.

Silva will operate in front of an attacking midfield trio Pedro Neto (£ 5.7m), Daniel Podence (£ 5.4m) and Adama traore (£ 6.2m).

“He has to stick to his duties. He has a knack for taking advantage of situations that can happen. “- Nuno Espirito Santo on Fabio Silva

The Wolves manager stays with the Back Four as well, which sees the surprising inclusion of Romain Saiss (£ 5.1m) in front of the bank Willy Boly (£ 5.5m). Budget option Max Kilman (£ 4.3m) is also a replacement.

Boly has been downgraded by Wolves manager Nuno

Aston Villa hasn’t played since Gameweek 10 after GW11 clash with Newcastle was postponed due to the Magpies Covid-19 outbreak.

The Villans lost 2-1 to West Ham in GW10 when Watkins missed a penalty. When asked if the striker would have taken a second kick that night, Smith answered on Friday:

I haven’t talked about it at the moment, but we’ll do it before the game of wolves. He was disappointed with the penalty, an opportunity to score from 12 yards.

He just wants to get better and better, he’ll keep working hard. He itches to play again. Missing a penalty isn’t nice. I missed one myself. It’s an integral part of the game and it’s always like you bounce back.

18-year-old Fabio Silva is the Wolves’ only available senior striker after Raul Jimenez sustained a serious head injury in GW10.

The Mexican star was seen at the wolves’ training ground this week. Nuno said on Friday:

He’s fine, it’s the same Raul. He’s smiling and positive and it’s so good to have him. We had normal conversations. We’ve already talked about the team and how we see it.

He has a wish that he would like to return and this is the most important step that he has already taken. He’ll take his time, but he wants to go back.

The wolf boss added Jonny (£ 5.4m):

He is doing very well. He’s a strong player as you can see but now he needs to have some time. We can’t hurry.

Wolves XI (4-2-3-1): Rui Patricio; Marcal, Saiss, Coady, Semedo; Dendoncker, Moutinho; Neto, Podence, Adama Traoré; Fabio Silva.

Aston Villa XI (4-3-3): Martinez; Targett, Mings, Konsa, Cash; McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Ramsey; Grealish, Watkins, Bertrand Traoré.
