Gießen 46ers get under the wheels in Hamburg, basketball Bundesliga – hr – regional

The Gießen 46ers got badly under the wheels on Thursday in the basketball Bundesliga at the away game in Hamburg. The Central Hesse lost at the Hanseatic League in the end with 79: 100 (32:54). The game was already decided at halftime after the 46ers had laid two quarters to forget and were already behind by more than 20 points.

After the break, the Giesseners were able to make the game more open, but more than damage limitation was no longer possible for coach Ingo Freyer’s team. The 46ers’ best thrower was Brandon Thomas with twelve points. For Giessen it was the fourth defeat in their fourth game.
