Former national team coach returns to the bench! Jarolím is in Mladá Boleslav again

The de facto non-cancellable contract was of no value to him. As soon as the Central Bohemians fell to 15th place behind them after Sunday’s defeat with Teplice, Jozef Weber was recalled together with the entire implementation team.

Mladá Boleslav reached for a proven company. Karel Jarolím has been the new coach since Tuesday. The 64-year-old coach, who last led the Czech national football team two years ago, trained in Mladá Boleslav from January 2014 to August 2016.

So he returns to the bench from which he headed for the Czech national team. And into an environment he knows well. The only witness from the then player cadre in the Mladá Boleslav cabin remained goalkeeper Jan Šeda.

Another fired coach. Weber no longer leads Mladá Boleslav

During his previous career with Jarolím, he coached 76 first-league matches in Mladá Boleslav, of which 39 were victorious and 19 were drawn with an active score of 136:90.

His closest collaborators will be assistant Boris Kočí and goalkeeper coach Oldřich Pařízek.

“Everything happened quickly, after Sunday’s match with Teplice, Mr. Dufek (president of the club) called me. If Boleslav managed to win, they probably wouldn’t have thought of me,” Jarolím smiles in the club’s audio recording.

Mladá Boleslav is a traditional candidate for trophies, but it is experiencing a miserable season.

The Central Europeans lost three of the last four league matches and won only one of the last six duels. Out of ten league matches, they have eight points and only two separate them from the relegation zone.
