The last game of the Europa League last 48 was played this morning. Here are the results of the full ‘Friday Night League’ match.
The sixth matchday of 12 groups in the top 48 of the 2020/2021 Europa League staged 23 matches on Friday (11/12/2020) in the morning WIB. Positive results have been achieved by several big teams, especially from England representatives.
In Group A, AS Roma was forced to give up 1-3 from the low-order team, CSKA-Sofia. This result did not change Il Lupi’s position, who qualified for the last 32 with the status of group winner.
In Group B, Arsenal secured a 100 percent win on 48 after beating Dundalk 4-2. These results make the Gunners come out as group winners with a perfect 18 points from six matches.
A fierce match is presented between Napoli and Real Sociedad in Group E. The two teams share a 1-1 point and each advance to the last 32, with Partenopei ending the group as leaders.
Moving on to Group G, Leicester City won 2-0 victory over AEK Athens. Jamie Vardy et al qualified for the next phase in first position.
In other matches, AC Milan completed the last match in Group H with a narrow 1-0 victory over Sparta Prague. This victory cemented the Rossoneri’s position in first place and qualified for the last 32.
Tottenham Hotspur also got positive results against Royal Antwerp in Group J. Jose Mourinho’s squad won convincingly 2-0, and advanced to the next phase as group winners.
Meanwhile, the Villarreal vs Qarabag FK duel in Group I had to be postponed due to a number of Qarabag players positive for COVID-19. However, this match had no effect, considering The Yellow Submarine was confirmed to qualify as group winners and advanced to the top 32 with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
