Eibar meets the sticks and Valencia with Dmtrovic

Eibar and Valencia tied at zero in Ipurua, where the Basque team continues without winning: if they gave two sticks against Getafe, this Monday they repeated this situation again.

Valencia held up well for three quarters of the match, but in the end he disappeared from the game and had enough to save a point, limiting himself to stopping the continuous attacks of Eibar that did not renounce the victory at any time.

Paradoxically, his clearest chance was in the last minute in an individual play by Gameiro, that only in front of the door he fired so that Dmtrovic returned to shine and to prevent the so much that would have been an undeserved punishment for the gunsmiths.

As soon as the game started, the Valencian player Carlos Soler had already given the first warning in a shot from a distance that Dmtrovic stopped very well placed.

The reply came shortly after in a cross from Bryan Gil, who rebounded off a defender and hit Muto’s hand, which was in an excellent situation. There was no clear dominator in the first minutes with a scoring game and neither Eibar nor Valencia decided to openly take the initiative.

From the first quarter of an hour Eibar began to take possession. Kike García tried a combination with Muto in minute 20, which frustrated Valencia. Shortly after Sergio Álvarez tried a shot from a distance that went wide. Valencia counterattacked with a dangerous Lato cross that Dmtrovic saved before a striker hit the shot.

The clearest chance of the first half was at Valencia in the 28th minute with a Maxi Gómez center that Manu Vallejo did not reach by centimeters.

García, in the 32nd minute, caused the clearest chance for Eibar in a cross shot inside the area that Jaume saved with difficulties. Later it was Edu Exposito who tried from afar with a well-placed shot that narrowly missed.

The meeting was encouraged as the minutes passed and with both teams playing attack without complexes. The end of an even first half was reached and with few clear chances.

The second half started with intensity, with a header from Bryan Gil and shortly after a shot from Kike García that went very high, in what were the first notices of Eibar.

In Valencia, a Racic missile in the 52nd minute ended with a spectacular save by Dmtrovic and after his rejection, the ball later hit the post on the best occasion of the match before the last minute and Gameiro’s aforementioned move.

Valencia once again had a good opportunity, in a play in which Manu Vallejo dribbled to Burgos and crossed for Maxi Gómez, who could not hit the ball well because he was very corner and opted for the pass, which cut the Eibar defense .

The match was a give and take, with the two teams unhappy with the draw. Eibar carried the ball and Valencia crouched waiting for some gunsmith error.

In the 85th minute Bryan Gil launched a very close direct free kick and Jaume cleared in extremis and with difficulties a ball that already slipped and hit the post and was about to enter, in the clearest opportunity of Eibar in the second half.

Eibar shook and Enrich again had a new opportunity on his boots in a point-blank shot. After a corner kick Enrich had it again, but his header hit the crossbar.

Eibar’s dominance was reflected in the eight corner kicks he had for none of Valencia, which disappeared in the final minutes, until in the last minute a game by Gameiro was about to give Valencia victory, but Dmtrovic prevented it.
