Ruud Vormer has been in quarantine since he recently tested positive for Covid-19. For example, the Dutchman spends his days at home instead of at Club Brugge. But that doesn’t always seem as fun as it sounds.
“Ruud was very disappointed, because he still wants to play football every minute”, says Roos Vormer The newspapaer. “Fortunately, he did enjoy the game on television.” Since Saturday, they have been in quarantine at home in Knokke for at least a week, together with their three children Valente (8), Juliette (4) and William (15 months).
But especially the health of the youngest is a concern for Ruud and Roos Vormer. For a moment there was fear of an immune disease, but tests gave good results. Although he still has to take antibiotics twice a day. Moreover, William has been at home every day since July. “That is sometimes intense”, Roos admits. “As he gets older, he demands more and more attention. Sometimes I need a moment for myself.”
