Skyliners work overtime

The Frankfurt Skyliners presented themselves with an overtime victory on Boxing Day. The team of head coach Sebastian Gleim defeated the Braunschweiger Löwen in their own hall on Saturday with 103: 98 and jumped to twelfth place in the table of the basketball Bundesliga.

Led by the strong Matt Mobley, who scored 31 points, the Hessians had the game largely under control, but after a weak final phase it went into overtime. There the Skyliners didn’t give the guests from Lower Saxony a chance. It continues on Wednesday (7 p.m.) with the Hessen derby between Frankfurt and Gießen.
