Balotelli, who has 30 caps with the Italian national team, has officially signed a short-term contract until the summer with Monza who is currently playing in the Italian Serie B.
Previously, Mario Balotelli was not under contract with any club. Ironic, considering his 30 years old and his reputation in the past as one of the most talented footballers.

Towards the completion of Mario Balotelli’s transfer to Monza, Adriano Galliani as the club’s CEO has emphasized that the footballer, who is one of Mino Raiola’s clients, cannot play anymore. Must be serious!
“I’ve spoken to him and said this is really his last chance, really and completely the last,” said Galliani as reported by the Italian Football.
“I like Mario, he is a player with physical and technical qualities who should be able to make his career better. He had shown extraordinary talent and I don’t understand why he is like this now. Moreover, he is only 30 years old,” he said.
Balotelli is no stranger to Adriano Galliani, who was also Silvio Berlusconi’s right hand man at AC Milan. Galiani and Berlusconi are now collaborating again at Monza, including in recruiting Mario Balotelli.
“I’ve spoken with Berlusconi about Balotelli. He said just go ahead, he gave the green light,” said Galliani.
“I still believe in him, Mario is a good boy. I said to him, ‘Don’t believe those who love praise. Even you will hear my criticism. But it’s for your good.’ And in his eyes I saw the understanding I needed,” he said. .
Adriano Galliani also revealed that Mino Raiola, Mario Balotelli’s agent, was reluctant to accept any commission at all in the recruitment of Monza to the footballer.
“Mario and Mino Raiola warmly welcomed. Mino refused the commission. We knew we would reach an agreement. They even asked us to formulate the numbers in the contract,” said Adriano Galliani.
