Without further ado, read about the nominees below and vote for Fans’ Footballer of the Year.

Jack Grealish

Grealish scored on the last day of last season when Villa secured her survival in the top division

A brilliant midfielder for the club and the country, Jack Grealish made his first five appearances for the Three Lions this year and led Aston Villa to ensure survival in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old is getting stronger and has already scored six goals and five assists for this campaign.

Grealish dedicated his future to his youth club by signing a new long-term deal last summer and Villa seems sure to improve on 17th place from last season with her talisman on top.

Jordan Henderson

Henderson led Liverpool to Premier League glory

Few could have predicted that Jordan Henderson would be considered one of the premier league players in his first few seasons at Anfield.

But the Liverpool captain has gone from an energetic presence in midfield to a full package. His versatility, urge, existence, and leadership skills make him a world-class performer in every way.

The 30-year-old won numerous trophies in 2019, but it’s the one he won this year that tasted sweetest as he ended the Reds’ 30-year wait for a league title in style.

Kevin De Bruyne

The Belgian scored one goal and one assist when City came from behind to win at the Santiago Bernabeu

Arguably the best player in the Premier League, Kevin De Bruyne took to new heights last season, hitting the record of 20 assists in a single campaign.

It came as no surprise that the Belgian won a number of solo awards over the summer while continuing to show that he is the linchpin that drives Manchester City forward.

The selection of his world-class performances was his goal-and-assist appearance on a famous night for City at Real Madrid. The 29-year-old has produced countless magical moments and we are lucky enough to watch him trade week in and week out.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford scored the winner in another memorable win at PSG in October

Not only did Marcus Rashford score his top 22 career goals last season, he also won the heart of the nation with his campaign against child nutrition poverty.

The Manchester United man is not afraid to use his platform to improve the situation around him and continues to show compassion beyond his years.

Rashford also overcame a serious back injury while the highlight of his season so far is undoubtedly his Champions League hat-trick against RB Leipzig.

He is firmly in the running to complement his MBE with another award.

Mohamed Salah

It was an iconic celebration that summed up the mood of Liverpool fans

Mohamed Salah burst from his own half, scoring the goal that sealed a 2-0 win over Manchester United and flexing his muscles emphatically in Anfield on the cold January evening

It was a picture that summed up the belief that Liverpool would finally put an end to the wait for a league title after taking 16 points clear of the championship leaders with a win over their bitter rivals.

Salah enjoyed another stellar season leading the Reds to glory. He has scored 19 goals and amassed 10 assists while he is in good shape with eight goals in nine games this season.

Sadio Mane

Mane has once again shown that he is one of the most versatile strikers in Europe

As Mohamed Salah’s striker, Sadio Mane had a season of his own, scoring 18 goals when Liverpool won the league – including many major winners.

Its importance for Jürgen Klopp’s team cannot be emphasized enough. Technically gifted, productive with his foot or in the air, and able to mess up the full-back, Mane is the complete striker.

The 28-year-old has also started this season in good form, scoring four goals in nine league games, including both goals in a 2-0 win at Chelsea.

Virgil Van Dijk

Van Dijk scored an important goal to give Liverpool the lead against Manchester United in January

Although his year on the football pitch ended in the tragic circumstances of a serious injury in October, that doesn’t take away from anything Virgil van Dijk achieved in 2020.

The Dutch colossus appeared in all 38 Premier League games of the triumphant Liverpool season, scoring five goals and making a remarkable 50 appearances in all competitions.

Van Dijk increases the performance of his fellow men and is a key leader for the Reds. His return to action next year will bring joy to Anfield believers.
