Amazon Prime, the tournament’s leading broadcasters, and S4C.

What are the team messages?

James Botham – grandson of English cricket star Sir Ian Botham – will make his Wales debut on Saturday.

The 22-year-old Cardiff Blues flanker was named to the Wales Autumn Nations Cup squad on Monday and has only played 13 professional games.

Cardiff-born Botham, whose father Liam played rugby union and rugby league for a number of clubs, is one of three newcomers to take on Georgia alongside scarlet Johnny Williams and Kieran Hardy.

The Welsh coaching team had already identified Botham as a player with potential World Cup potential in 2023, but his chance came much earlier than expected.

And he’s the youngest international rugby player off the production line at Sedbergh School in Cumbria. Botham’s former classmates include former English captain Will Carling, English World Cup center Will Greenwood and current Wales supporter Tomas Francis.

Former London Irish and Newcastle Center Williams was diagnosed with testicular cancer and underwent chemotherapy last year before returning to professional rugby 10 months ago.

He represented England and scored a try in a capless game against the Barbarians in 2019, but qualified for Wales through his father, who is from Rhyl.

Wales from XV: Liam Williams, Johnny McNicholl, Nick Tompkins, Johnny Williams, Louis Rees-Zammit, Callum Sheedy, and Kieran Hardy; Wyn Jones, Elliot Dee, Samson Lee, Jake Ball, Seb Davies, James Botham, Justin Tipuric (Captain), Aaron Wainwright.
replacement: Sam Parry, Nicky Smith, Leon Brown, Cory Hill, James Davies, Rhys Webb, Ioan Lloyd and Jonah Holmes.

What did we say about the teams?

Kate Rowan investigates the plight in Wales, which is not dissimilar to that of Man Utd and Arsenal. How does the new man in the top job follow such a successful trainer?

What are the chances?

  • Wales wins – 1/25
  • Georgia wins – 40/1
  • Draw – 70/1

What is our prediction?

Wales are sure to end their six-game loss to a brave but ultimately inferior side from Georgia no matter which team they choose.

But if Wales calls an inexperienced squad as expected, then it may not be the router many are expecting. Georgia will be desperate to score at least some points after being defeated by England last weekend.
