ATALANTA 0-5 LIVERPOOL
Diogo Jota scored a hat trick when Liverpool beat Atalanta 5-0 in the Champions League Group D clash in Bergamo on Tuesday.
Portuguese striker Jota scored the first goal for the Premier League leaders after a quarter of an hour. After 33 minutes, the second striker scored two goals during the break in an empty Gewiss stadium in northern Italy.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s home side had to make a two-goal comeback when they held Ajax 2-2 a week ago.

Jürgen Klopp’s 2019 Champions League winners are at the top of Group D with a maximum of nine points and are five times ahead of Atalanta and Ajax, who won 2-1 at Danish champions Midtjylland.
MANCHESTER CITY 3-0 OLYMPICS
Gabriel Jesus marked his return from injury with a goal that sealed Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Olympiacos as Pep Guardiola’s men headed for a place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
City have scored maximum points in their first three Group C games, thanks in large part to Ferran Torres’ form of free valuation as the Spaniard became the third-youngest player to ever score in four consecutive Champions League games when he opened the scoring after 12 minutes.
However, the English side have been missing a reckless streak without a natural striker in the Premier League in recent weeks and Jesus’ return comes just in time before Liverpool’s visit to Etihad on Sunday.
REAL MADRID 3-2 INTER MILAN
Real Madrid thwarted a comeback in Inter Milan’s second half to win 3-2 on Tuesday and bid for the Champions League in Group B.
19-year-old Brazilian Rodrygo from Madrid came off the bench to score the winning goal in the empty Alfredo di Stefano stadium. Inter threatened a remarkable turnaround after leveling after two goals.
Lautaro Martinez and Ivan Perisic gave Inter hope for a win after Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos put Madrid in charge. Ramos headed his 100th Real Madrid goal in one second after half an hour.
But Rodrygo had the last word, his cool finish in the 80th minute earned Zinedine Zidane’s side their first win as they left Inter with a mountain to climb to reach the final 16.
