Tiger Woods made this Sunday, during the fourth and last day of the Masters, his worst result ever at a hole in a PGA Tour tournament by completing with 10 strokes (+7) par 3 of 12 in the Augusta National, in which he went up to three times to the water.

His worst result in a tournament hole so far was the 9 he signed on hole 3 (par 4) of the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin (Ohio, USA) during the third round of the 1997 Memorial Tournament.

On the 12th hole, Woods, who was defending the title won at the 2019 Masters, went overboard on his first hit. After dropping the ball, he ended up in the water again with a wedge strike.

Again he dropped and sent the ball to a bunker, from which he again carried the ball into the water. He repeated his start from the bunker, this time to the green, where he needed two putts to hole out and finish the hole with ten strokes (+7).

Later, Tiger Woods, winner of 15 ‘majors’ during his career, far from sinking, recovered and made cinco birdies, one on 13 and four in a row from 15 to 18 to end a round of 76 (+4). In total he finished with 287 (one under par).
