The team with which Donald Trump will fight his legal battle and contest his defeat in the election

Donald Trump Jr et Eric Trump

The President’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr, 42, and his brother, 36, Eric Trump, mounted a fundraising campaign to fund legal efforts to challenge election results in key states won by Joe Biden.

The pair are also very active on social media, where they echo unsubstantiated allegations of electoral fraud and irregularities.

Rudy Giuliani

Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, is focusing his efforts on the state of Pennsylvania, where Joe Biden has a 45,000-vote lead, most likely irrecoverable with 98 percent of the votes counted.

The former New York mayor, 76, was also heavily involved in Donald Trump’s efforts to harm his Democratic rival during the campaign, by investigating the activities of his son, Hunter Biden, in Ukraine. The Ukrainian affair had led to the historic impeachment trial of the American president, who was finally acquitted by the Senate.

Pam Bondi and Corey Lewandowski

Pam Bondi, 54, a former Florida attorney general, was a member of Donald Trump’s legal team during his Senate impeachment trial.

Corey Lewandowski, 47, was Donald Trump’s campaign manager for a time when he ran for the 2016 election.

The duo held a joint press conference in Philadelphia last week in which they announced their intention to file complaints about the counting of votes in Pennsylvania.

Kayleigh McEnany

Kayleigh McEnany, 32, and a Harvard-trained lawyer, is the White House press secretary.

Ms McEnany gave a press conference on Monday, in which she and officials from the Republican Party outlined their plans to investigate the conduct of the election in several states where Mr Biden was victorious.

Matt Schlapp and Richard Grenell

Matt Schlapp, 52, is the president of the Union of American Conservatives. He is leading the legal battle for Camp Trump in Nevada, the western American state known for the Las Vegas casinos, where Biden leads by 36,000 votes, with 97% of the ballots counted.

Richard Grenell, 54, a former US Ambassador to Germany, also a former Acting Director of US Intelligence, is also involved in the campaign team’s appeals in Nevada.

David Bossie

David Bossie, 55, took the head at the end of last week of the legal team in charge of legal remedies in several states where Republicans denounce electoral fraud.

But this former campaign adviser to the president has tested positive for the coronavirus according to US media, which calls into question his role in these efforts.
