KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian U19 national team will almost certainly hold training center (TC) abroad again. This time, they will fly to Spain.
Previously, the Indonesian U19 national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, brought TC’s foster children to Thailand in early 2020 and to Croatia for two months.
At the end of December, the Garuda Muda squad will gather again for TC and depart for Spain.
Currently Bagas Kaffa et al are undergoing TC in Jakarta and are still being led by a team of local coaches in training that has been running since 16 November.

This time, TC is led by the assistant of the Indonesian U-19 national team, Nova Arianto. Meanwhile, Shin Tae-yong is still in South Korea and only monitors virtually.
If previously there were two options between South Korea and Spain, this time PSSI has provided the greatest opportunity for David Maulana et al to go to Spain.
“From the Spanish Embassy it is okay, just waiting for the news from there whether it can be entered or not,” said PSSI Acting Secretary General, Yunus Nusi, quoted as saying BolaSport.
After receiving an answer from the Spanish Embassy, PSSI was just waiting to send the players to the country.

In fact, not only the green light was obtained from the Spanish Embassy, the trial opponents for the Indonesian U19 national team were also provided.
However, to discuss the opponents of the Indonesian U19 national team, PSSI was reluctant to talk much to ensure coach Shin Tae-yong’s arrival to Indonesia first.
The former South Korean national team coach at the 2018 World Cup is scheduled to return to Jakarta in early December.
Therefore, PSSI decided to wait for SHin Tae-yong to first reveal about the U19 national team program in Spain later.
“Yes, there are already trial opponents,” said the man who also serves as a member of the PSSI Executive Committee (Exco).

For now, there are 36 Indonesian U-19 national team players who are undergoing TC and doing high intensity training every day at the Madya Stadium, Jakarta.
