It has been official information for a few days now: the NBA is already almost back. The players’ association has reached an agreement with the league to return to the courts for December 22, a little more than two months of rest for the Lakers, who will continue after their title. This does not work for some, like LeBron James who got annoyed on social networks.
With the draft on November 18, all that was missing was one important piece of information: when was the free agency going to open its doors? According to Adrian Wojnarowski, there again, an agreement has just been found.
According to the best-known insider in the league, the free agency will begin on November 20, two days after the draft. A desire on the part of the players so as not to encroach too much on the start of the tranining camp on December 1st. And according to Zach Lowe, also at ESPN, we can expect heavy from the start.
Zach Lowe anticipates a lot of trade movement when the moratorium is lifted;

There are some fingers that start to itch when it comes to trades. I do not know when the date will be exactly up (the 20th therefore, editor’s note), but be prepared. When it starts to blow away, it will be fun.
Chris Paul, who would have a preference for his future ? Jrue Holiday? Victor Oladipo? These are as many players who are on the start. Trades are eagerly awaited, and some franchises will be quick to settle everything before December 1 and the start of training camp. One thing is for sure: fans are going to have a blast for the end of November.
