The Bulls will go for the most talented player available in the draft

The draft ceremony is a litmus test for the different offices of the NBA and this year it will not be easy to overcome. The external conditions have made the teams less prepared and do not know so exhaustively the players they are going to choose. For this reason, the quality of each management has to be present and prove its worth to detect young talent.

One of the teams in which there will be a lot of focus is the Chicago Bulls. After the end of the GarPax era, Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley will be in charge of making this very committed decision. However, they are two managers who already have a lot of experience in this type of night.

First of all, Marc Eversley has been present in the decision-making of the Philadelphia 76ers since 2016, which translates to draft picks like Markelle Fultz, Shake Milton, Mattise Thybulle and Landry Shamet. On the other hand, to Arturas Karnisovas, general manager of the Denver Nuggets for the past two seasons, he is remembered for being instrumental in shaping a draft-based team. Those from Colorado have as references Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, two picks in which the Lithuanian was present as an assistant.

The importance of their past is still difficult to interpret, since the weight they had in the elections is not known in detail. However, it should be noted that both have also had bad decisions, such as going after Markelle Fultz in the case of Eversley, or trades Donovan Mitchell by Karnisovas.

This year the Chicago Bulls have the pick 4, and despite the fact that the squad has certain needs, the management remains firm and will go for the most talented player they can choose, according to sources from the Chicago Tribune. Well as his said general manager, “We are going to look for the player with the most potential”, something he already did in his time with the Nuggets, by obtaining two centers, Jusuf Nurkic and Nikola Jokic, on the same night.

So far different names have sounded in relation to the first round of the Illinois players such as LaMelo Ball, Killian Hayes, Tyrese Haliburton, Isaac Okoro or Devin Vassell. It should be noted that they also have the pick 44, a type of choice in which Arturas always tries to surprise with a European talent.
