State of Origin coaches Brad Fittler and Wayne Bennett argued over the behavior of Queensland striker Jai Arrow during the third round of the game.
Arrow was held accountable on social media for pushing NSW full-back and captain James Tedesco into the grass after he lost the ball in a tackle.
What Arrow failed to notice was that Tedesco had actually been knocked down by Josh Papalii’s knee, leaving him unable to control the ball.

NSW hooker Damien Cook didn’t really see the Arrow incident with Tedesco.
But he speculated that Arrow may be approached by Bennett, who also coaches Cook at the club level.
“I know for sure if that’s what they say, Wayne isn’t going to be happy because it’s a due diligence, and Wayne is great at it,” Cook said.
Bennett was not concerned about Arrow’s behavior, however.
“It was instinct,” Bennett told the media.
