The PDC has announced the schedule for the opening day of the Players Championship Finals. This tournament starts on Friday, November 27 and will be played on two different stages on the two opening days.
The Players Championship Finals are attended by 64 players who have qualified via the Players Championship Order of Merit. This ranking is based on the performance of the darts players during the 23 Players Championship tournaments in 2020.
On Friday afternoon, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Michael Smith, Devon Petersen, Dimitri van den Bergh, among others, will perform on the main stage. This also applies to the squatter between Adrian Lewis and Simon Whitlock.
Krzysztof Ratajski, Martijn Kleermaker, Ian White and Dave Chisnall can be seen on the second track. This track can be followed live via pdc.tv.
In the evening session, Michael van Gerwen and Niels Zonneveld are the only Dutchmen on the main stage. Van Gerwen takes on Darius Labanauskas in the first round. A meeting with James Wade awaits for Zonneveld.
The second job opens with a Dutch meeting between Vincent van der Voort and Derk Telnekes. Later in the evening Maik Kuivenhoven, Jermaine Wattimena, Jeffrey de Zwaan and Danny Noppert will also come into action on this track.
