Portuguese Grand Prix. Moto3

Girona rider Albert Arenas (KTM) is the new Moto3 champion after finishing twelfth in the last Grand Prix of the year, the Portuguese Grand Prix, at the Portimao circuit. The Girona native arrived in this last race with an advantage of 8 points over Ai Ogura (Honda), and took advantage of this margin to seal the title, although he had to suffer until the end to seal the championship.

The Girona native has not had it easy. Despite starting well, he has been losing pace as the laps have passed and in the end he has fallen to 12th position. However, his rivals, the Japanese Ogura and the Italian Tony Arbolina (Honda) have not been far enough ahead to take the title at Arenas. The Japanese finished eighth and the Italian five.
