LODGE SET TO JUMP SHIP WARRIORS
Disgraced Bronco’s Prop Matt Lodge will move from Red Hill to the Warriors on a multi-million dollar deal.
Wide World of Sports reported that Broncos manager Kevin Walters was keen to keep Lodge but ultimately the club needs to strike a better balance with their squad that has too many strikers with big money.
The 25-year-old has closed a $ 500,000-a-season deal with the Broncos for the next two seasons, which would free up much-needed money in Brisbane’s cap.

Lodge is slated for a raise with the Warriors, where his father-in-law Peter O’Sullivan is the recruiting manager.

Lodge has scored four tries in 65 NRL games since his debut with the Tigers in 2014 and changed his life after his infamous New York rampage.
INEDESCO JOINS THE MONSTER ROOSTERS EXPANSION
Blues and kangaroo full-back James Tedesco is approaching a multi-million dollar extension with the Sydney Roosters.
Brent Read revealed reports that Roosters signed Joseph Suaalii were seen as a contingency plan for Tedesco and that a three-year extension north of $ 1 million per season was imminent, which would tie Tedesco to the tricolor until the end of 2024.
“There had been some talk about Suaalii being an insurance policy if the Roosters couldn’t get a deal with James Tedesco,” Read said of Triple M.
“Tedesco has a year left on his deal and as I understand it, the Roosters are very close to announcing something with him.

“I think it will be a three year extension to this contract. They’re talking close to over $ 3 million.
“I think we can put it to bed that Teddy is not going anywhere and will be there for the long term.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a deal in the next week or so.”
At the age of 27, Tedesco had 88 tries in 158 games for the Tigers and the Roosters, and played 13 games for the Blues and 10 Tests for the Kangaroos and Italy.
