LOCAL ADVANTAGE?

The coronavirus pandemic has dealt a blow to the advantage that playing at home means, given that most of the matches of the campaign have been held without or with a limited number of audiences.

This has eliminated the need for visiting teams to implement silent counts before plays, and has made life easier for offenses.

Visiting teams are 67-65-1 this season. It is the first time since 1983 (68-57-1) that they have held a positive mark after nine weeks.

There has been no difference in points in relation to the premises and the visitor. The teams have averaged 25.3 points per game in each case.

From 2010 to 19, the home teams outscored the visitors by 2.0 points per game.
