The state of health of star Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey is once again worrying.
According to what Ian Rapoport reported from NFL Network, the running back suffers from a shoulder injury that puts his participation in doubt for Sunday’s game. The Panthers will then face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
McCaffrey would have suffered the new injury after the game against the Kansas City Chiefs which marked his return to the game after a long absence.
Kept out of the action since week two of activity with an ankle injury, McCaffrey again delivered a dominant performance with 151 yards and two touchdowns. He has registered a total of six majors in just three games this season.
Should he miss a game again, McCaffrey would once again be replaced in the Panthers fullback by Mike Davis.
