The Association of Basketball Clubs (AdC) confirmed today 11 more cases of coronavirus in five delegations of the Northern Conference, although it decided to continue with the activity, despite the total of 31 positives among all teams.
On the day of this Wednesday, the results of the PCR swabs in the North were known, after the postponement of Sunday’s date in the South and the Saturday games were considered lost by Gimnasia y Esgrima de Comodoro and Argentino de Junn for not being able to appear, and those affected are San Martín (2) and Regatas Corrientes, La Unin de Formosa, Olmpico de La Banda and Ober Tenis Club.
In the case of San Martín, those affected were pivot wing Franco Alorda and technical assistant Ariel Checenelli, and they also preemptively isolated guard Toms Zanzottera as well as technical assistant Gabriel Revidatti.
In addition, Regatas had the guard Juan Pablo Arengo infected and they separated the forward Xavier Carreras by close contact.
And Ober Tennis Club does not have its star pivot, the North American Anthony Kent, and the other case was its Team Leader, Miguel Ferreyra.
Five members from Olmpico and one from La Unin
In the other clubs the names did not transcend, but according to Tlam they found out there are five members of Olmpico (one player and four members of the delegation) and one from La Unin.
