Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: heads of state agree on ceasefire – politics

In the conflict over the South Caucasus region of Nagorno-Karabakh, the heads of state of Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on a ceasefire mediated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. All fighting should therefore be stopped at 1:00 a.m. local time (10:00 p.m. CET). This was announced by the Kremlin in the Russian capital Moscow on Tuesday night, according to the Interfax agency.
