Mathias Lessort’s rights transferred

Until the evening of the draft, the NBA rights of the Frenchman Mathias Lessort, drafted by the Sixers in 2017, belonged to the Los Angeles Clippers, but that has changed. The Californian franchise has formalized a deal with the Minnesota Tilmberwolves made on draft day.

The Clippers get Daniel Oturu back in exchange for a 2023 runoff (via the Pistons, which Wolves used to do business with the Knicks in addition to Immanuel Quiclkey to get Leandro Bolmaro back) and the rights of Frenchman Mathias Lessort.

The Wolves therefore now have the rights of the French if one day he makes the big jump in the NBA (and therefore the priority), which is currently not relevant. This season he returned to France, to AS Monaco, where he is currently running 11.9 points at 62.9%, 6.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1 interception in 22.5 minutes over 9 games in all competitions.
