The wave of COVID-19 has not stopped flooding the Nerazzurri with Brozovic being the latest name to test positive.

Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic tested positive for the corona virus while on international duty with Croatia.

The Croatian Football Federation (HNS) announced the positive results of Brozovic’s COVID-19 test on Friday (13/11), together with a team staff, and confirmed they had undergone independent isolation.

Additional tests were carried out before the UEFA Nations League match on Saturday (14/11) against Sweden, after Croatian defender Domagoj Vida tested positive for COVID-19 during a match in Istanbul, Wednesday (11/11) yesterday.

“The test results show two positive cases, for national team member Marcelo Brozovic and a team staff member,” read the HNS statement.
