KOMPAS.com – Former Manchester United player Patrice Evra is reluctant to call Juergen Klopp’s Liverpool era the best team.
Liverpool is currently ranked second in the 2020-2021 Premier League standings.
This result was achieved by Liverpool after winning a 3-0 victory over Leicester City in the Premier League match which was held at Anfield Stadium, Monday (23/11/2020) in the morning WIB.
This achievement made the Reds in second place and overshadowed Tottenham Hotspur, who were at the top of the standings for a while.

However, this glorious achievement has not made Patrice Evra crown Juergen Klopp’s Liverpool as a great team.
Patrice Evra said he would call the current Liverpool team a superior team if they managed to win the Premier League for three consecutive seasons.
“We need to calm down first, it’s only been nine games. I would call them a great team when they can win three league titles in a row,” Evra said. Daily Mail.
“If they didn’t win this year, I wouldn’t call them an extraordinary team. It’s all about consistency,” he said.
“When they can win the league year after year, that’s when we recognize them as a great Liverpool team,” said the former Man United defender.

Former Arsenal player, Freddie Ljungberg, also said the same thing.
He considered that Liverpool under Juergen Klopp’s era was not the best team the Merseyside club had ever produced.
“This is a great club. Saying that Liverpool in the Juergen Klopp era is the best team compared to before, in my opinion is unfair. I agree with Evra,” he said.
However, Patrice Evra did not deny that Liverpool will definitely be a contender for the Premier League title for the years to come.
“Liverpool are sending a signal to their rivals that they are stronger now,” said Patrice Evra.
“Liverpool will be very tough title contenders and I wouldn’t be surprised. They are a big club, that’s all I want to say,” he said.
