Mydtjylland was supposed to host the meeting at home but if the match took place in Denmark, Liverpool players and staff would have had to adhere to a 14-day quarantine once they returned home.
The city of Dortmund has therefore agreed to host the meeting, in full respect of the hygiene rules imposed by UEFA.
Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp will therefore return to the city of the club where he coached from 2008 to 2015 and with which he won two Bundesliga titles, in 2011 and 2012.
