Freibergs, Bičevskis and Galviņš mark with passes in Czech championship matches

Latvian hockey team striker Māris Bičevskis and defender Ralfs Freibergs celebrated with two assists in extraordinary games on Sunday, but defender Guntis Galviņš assisted in one goal.

Freiberg’s Brno “Kometa” beat Vītkovice’s “Ridera” team in a series of 3: 2 post-throw shots.

On the other hand, the team Litvīnova “Verva” represented by defenders Oskars Cibuļskis and Uvja Balinska suffered a loss, which acknowledged the superiority of Karlovy Vary “Energie” at home with 1: 2 (1: 1, 0: 0, 0: 1). Balinskis played for 21 minutes and 40 seconds, throwing the goal once, but Cibulskis was on the ice for 18 minutes and 25 seconds, using two force techniques. For both Latvians, the utility was negative -1.

This season, 14 teams play in the strongest league in the Czech Republic. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the units have played a different number of games – from seven to 11 matches.

Of the units represented by Latvians, the best result is demonstrated by “Ocelārži”, which takes the third place in seven games with 20 points.
