France-Sweden: Mbappé took part in the entire training

The French selection trained on Monday evening at the Stade de France on the eve of France-Sweden on behalf of the last day of the League of Nations. Before the session, the Blues had learned that all the Covid-19 tests performed a little earlier were negative. A training in which Adrien Rabiot and Anthony Martial did not participate, remaining in care. Corentin Tolisso, injured in the back, and N’Golo Kanté, suspended this Tuesday, have for their part already joined their clubs, Bayern Munich for the first, Chelsea for the second.

During this final training, Didier Deschamps did not set up, contenting himself with a game reduced to nine against nine in which the replacement goalkeeper Benoît Costil participated. Kylian Mbappé, who no longer feels his pain in his right thigh, participated in the entire program. He should enter during the match on the occasion of the last meeting of the Blues in 2020.

For him, it will be his first appearance since October 31 and a trip from his club, PSG, to Nantes (3-0). Olivier Giroud will in all likelihood regain a starting place after having lived a good part of Portugal-France from the sidelines. The Chelsea center forward should be associated with Antoine Griezmann in the axis of the attack. Marcus Thuram could know his third selection, after Finland and Portugal.

In midfield, Paul Pogba, Moussa Sissoko and Steven Nzonzi should start in a 4-4-2. Behind, Benjamin Pavard is a candidate to start the game again to the right of Raphaël Varane. Clément Lenglet and Lucas Digne, left on the bench at the Luz stadium in Lisbon, will be aligned on the left flank of the defense, commanded from the goal by captain Hugo Lloris.

Probable composition of the France team:

Lloris (chap.) – Pavard, Varane, Lenglet, Digne – Thuram, Nzonzi, Pogba, Sissoko – Griezmann, Giroud.
