Brazilian Felipe Gedoz, who played for Club Brugge between 2014 and the end of 2016, will try his luck in the Brazilian third division at Clube do Remo until the end of February, which will take him over from the Uruguayan Nacional on a loan basis, the club announced on Thursday.

The now 27-year-old Felipe Gedoz has not immediately been doing well in recent years. However, he left an excellent impression when he arrived at Bruges’ Jan Breydel Stadium in the summer of 2014. After a promising debut, however, he was unable to live up to expectations. In the spring of 2015 he had to deal with pubalgia, followed by a long rehabilitation and he was never able to return to his original level. At the end of 2016, he returned to his home country, where he signed a three-season contract with Atlético Paranaense.

For the former Brazilian youth international, that was the first professional experience in his own country. After all, in 2011 he already made the switch to the Uruguayan Defensor Sporting, where Club noticed him a few years later. However, it was not a success story and the club lent him a year and a half later to Goias and a little later also to second division Vitoria. At the beginning of this year, he did not get a contract extension at Paranaense and he was without a club for more than six months, until Nacional picked him up after all. In Uruguay, he still has an agreement until mid-next year.
