Ex-Bayer Mandzukic apparently before signing with Celta Vigo

The former Bundesliga player Mario Mandzukic has apparently found a new club. He is reportedly facing a commitment to the Spanish first division club Celta Vigo.

Former Bundesliga goalscorer Mario Mandzukic is said to be facing an engagement with the Spanish first division soccer club Celta Vigo. According to media reports, the currently clubless ex-striker of VfL Wolfsburg and record champions Bayern Munich will sign a contract with relegation candidate Celta Vigo on Wednesday until the end of the season. Most recently, the vice world champion played for Al-Duhail in Qatar after he left the Italian record champion Juventus Turin at the beginning of the year.

For Mandzukic, who came to Wolfsburg from Dinamo Zagreb in 2010 and moved to Bayern two years later, Vigo would be the second stop of his career in Spain. In 2014, the attacker from Munich moved to Atletico Madrid for one season.

Vigo can use goals from Mandzukic: After nine matchdays, the Galicians are just one point ahead of the relegation zone with just one win and the weakest league yield of just six goals. In his 110 Bundesliga games Mandzukic scored 53 goals.
