Dortmund does not agree with the imposed quarantine of goldcrest Haaland | UEFA Nations League

Norwegian international Omar Elabdellaoui took a positive corona test on Saturday just before the Nations League match against Romania (in Bucharest). The game was canceled and the Norwegian Ministry of Health had to quarantine the entire Norwegian team for 10 days.

Among them: Simen Jukleröd (Antwerp), Sander Berge (ex-Genk), Alexander Sörloth (ex-Ghent), Sigurd Rosted (ex-Ghent) and also the star of the Norwegian team: Erling Haaland (Dortmund).

All players had to sign a document from the Norwegian Football Association stating that they also had to comply with the quarantine rule with their club, even if it is a foreign club. As a result, they are not allowed to play for their club this weekend.

But the German clubs do not agree. For example, Dortmund, the club of Red Devils Axel Witsel, Thorgan Hazard and Thomas Meunier, does not agree with the imposed quarantine. A statement states that Dortmund “assumes that German law applies on German territory”.

For the last Nations League game of Norway, now in Austria on Wednesday, an entirely new core was put together.

4 players from Belgian clubs were called up for this: Anders Kristiansen (Union), defender Andreas Hanche-Olsen (AA Gent) and midfielders Mats Möller Daehli and Kristian Thorstvedt (both Racing Genk).

Kristiansen, Hanche-Olsen and Thorstvedt can make their debut for Norway.
