The death of Diego Armando Maradona it has shocked not only football people. His name crossed any sport and from different disciplines they have paid him multiple tributes.

The world of tennis also mourned the death of ‘Pelusa’ and various figures said goodbye to him with heartfelt messages. From Rafael Nadal to Juan Martín del Potro, the main names of the racket used their social networks to dedicate a few words of farewell to him.

“Today the world of sports in general and football in particular has a void. Maradona left us one of the greatest athletes in history. What he did in football remains. My sincere and condolences to his family, to the world of football and to all of Argentina, ”Nadal wrote.

Juan Martín del Potro also said goodbye to his compatriot, with whom he had the opportunity to play at a tennis exhibition in Dubai. “Today you return to heaven, the place where you belong. You will never die for me, friend. You’ll always be in my heart. Rest in peace”.

It should be noted that Diego Armando Maradona died on the morning of this Wednesday, November 25, due to a cardiorespiratory arrest at home. Recently, the Argentine star had undergone surgery when presenting a subdural hematoma on his head.
