This is the priority of the fall for the Wizards: to extend Davis Bertans. The leaders have been repeating it for almost a year. As Davis Bertans is an unprotected free agent, the Wizards do not necessarily have their hands on the case, but they can offer him a five-year contract, and exceed the salary cap to offer him a very good contract.
