Bhayangkara Holds Trial, Mayor of Solo Also Take Part

Bhayangkara FC officially changed its name to Bhayangkara Solo FC. In the new location, they competed by holding a trial against the Surakarta City Government.

Kakorlantas Polri Inspector General Pol Istiono who is also the CEO of Bhayangkara Solo FC also competed. On the opposing side, Solo Mayor FX Hadi Rudyatmo also appeared to strengthen the Surakarta City Government team.

This match was held at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Friday (27/11/2020), evening, WIB. Bhayangkara emerged as the winner with a score of 2-0.

Bhayangkara coach Paul Munster contributed one goal for his team. While one other goal was scored by the Head of Central Java’s Kadispora Joni.

FX Hadi Rudyatmo is happy to be involved in this fight. He expressed his support for Bhayangkara to live in Solo.

“We are happy. Hopefully the presence of Bhayangkara Solo FC can motivate football players in Solo. Hopefully 30 percent of the Solo FC Bhayangkara quota for Solo children will be netted,” said FX Hadi Rudyatmo in an official release.

“Like one of them is Tri Wahyu. At least we are proud to be involved in raising Tri and now become a player at Bhayangkara Solo FC,” he added.

Bhayangkara’s move to Solo was inaugurated at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, on Friday (27/11). The event was also attended by Deputy Chairman Iwan Budianto and PT LIB President Director Akhmad Hadian Lukita, Exco PSSI member Haruna Sumitro, and GM Arema FC Ruddy Widodo.

Prior to Solo, Bhayangkara had been home to the PTIK Stadium, Jakarta, since Liga 1 2018. The Guardian chose to move to Solo for one reason, so that he could get more audience support.

The open attitude of the Solo Municipal Government was welcomed by the Bhayangkara management. They are grateful to be able to gain the confidence to represent Solo in the highest caste competition of Indonesian football.

“Our togetherness with the City Government is truly extraordinary. Friends of senior players and City Government players try and feel the field (Manahan Stadium) which will be used for international competitions (U-20 World Cup), of course it is very adequate,” said Inspector General Pol Istiono.
