Bayern Munich’s basketball players have lost two EuroLeague games in a row for the first time this season. Coach Andrea Trinchieri’s team lost 76:83 (35:44) to Greek champions Panathinaikos Athens on Friday. With seven wins, the five-time German champion is fourth in the table. Last week Bayern had lost in the home game against favorite CSKA Moscow (81:89). Against the four-time EuroLeague champion Panathinaikos, the Munich team was initially too timid. After the half-time break, they increased the pressure, but it was no longer enough to win the debut. The best Munich scorer was Vladimir Lucic with 20 points, while Nemanja Nedovic scored 17 points for Athens.
