Stefan Edberg recently shared his thoughts on a podcast. He logically spoke of Roger Federer since he worked with him. The Swede broached a subject that according to him really upset the career of the Swiss in 2013. It is the change of his racket and therefore the size of his head: “2013 was a very difficult year for Roger. His back bothered him a lot and he started to fall in games where he shouldn’t have lost. He needed inspiration, something that would make him hooked on tennis again. He decided to change racquets and it was vital for his athletic career. When I joined his team in 2014, he was mentally ready to improve as a tennis player. He already had goals in mind and started training really hard to achieve them.
