Arsenal: Elneny is positive for au Covid-19

Like his compatriot Mohamed Salah last week, Mohamed Elneny (28, 11 games in all competitions with Arsenal this season) tested positive for Covid-19 with Egypt on Monday. Asymptomatic but forced into isolation, the Arsenal midfielder will therefore miss the CAN 2022 qualifying match against Togo on Tuesday, and probably the Gunners’ trip to Leeds on Saturday in the Premier League.
