Joaquín Rodríguez will play in Obras Sanitarias in the Argentine National League, Tachero adds the third Uruguayan of his squad.

New destination for one of the guards with the most projection of Uruguayan basketball. Rodríguez arrives at Obras Sanitarias after passing through Estudiantes de Concordia where he averaged 8.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists. Although he had a contract with the club, he himself had sold the place, and the way out was sought for him to continue projecting his career in a first division team.

It will be the third Uruguayan of the Tachero, where he will share a squad with Emiliano Serres and Ignacio Xavier. It will be the second team on the other side of the pond for Joaquín who in Uruguay played in Aguada – he was League champion – and in Larre Borges. Several compatriots have passed through Obras Sanitarias in recent years, such as Mauricio Aguiar, Martín Osimani and Bruno Fitipaldo.

The team that acts as a local in the temple of rock, has a project to promote young talents and Rodríguez fits the bill perfectly. At the moment, it is not known when the basketball activity will return in Argentina.
